The role of networking in implementing new ideas
Networking to facilitate technology transfer - this was the subject of an event organised by S-WIN, SCCER biosweet and NRP 66 at ETH Zurich on 17 November 2016.
Around 20 experts from academia and industry shared their insights about current networking trends among researchers, developers and users. Digital tools such as Wiki as well as webinars and web conferences are now commonly used because they allow users to explore clearly defined topics quickly and efficiently. But when establishing new networks or discussing new and complex topics, the people involved appreciate meeting in person. This assessment is backed by experiences gathered in connection with the dialogue platforms of NRP 66.
