The increasing proportion of hardwood in Swiss forests is a reality, as is the lack of sales potential for this product. In the morning, participants will be discussing possible management options for forest owners. In the afternoon, the SFS will be taking a closer look at the European timber market and holding an in-depth discussion on how to solve the dilemma of “hardwood: supply without demand”.
