NRP 66 enters the home straight
The last few final reports from the 30 research projects have been approved. Four thematic synthesis reports and one programme résumé are being finalised or are already being translated/layouted. Planning for the concluding event is underway. NRP 66 is approaching the finish line.

"#WOODVETIA – campaign for more Swiss timber"
Since the start of the year, the forestry and timber industry and FOEN have been promoting Swiss timber using the hashtag Woodvetia. The campaign is intended to raise people's awareness of Swiss wood by enabling them to experience, smell and feel it in novel ways.
New applications and new ways with wood
Inspired by the installation of a modular housing unit made entirely from laminated beech planking in EMPA's NEST building (Next Evolution in Sustainable Building Technology), S-WIN has devoted itself to the subject of "New applications for wood".
The Théâtre de Vidy – a product of basic IBOIS research
On 13 March 2017, Lignum Vaud and S-WIN's Top Programm Holz 2017 initiative jointly organised a visit to the construction site of the new timber pavilion at the Théâtre de Vidy in Lausanne.

   Joint Workshops with S-WIN

08.11.2017, Gurten

Bern's local "mountain" (the Gurten) will be the venue for reflecting upon and discussing the findings and recommendations of NRP 66. Workshops on the four thematic areas are aimed at researchers and leading Swiss and international practitioners.
